Frequently asked questions

Do I need a ClauseBook account?

You may use the free-access period while signed out. An account is required to sync drafts and favourites, begin the subscription trial and continue creating drafts after free access ends.

Where are my drafts and favourites stored?

Signed-out work stays in that browser. After sign-in, local work is merged with the account’s cloud library and synchronized automatically.

Can I share a clause with my broker?

Yes. Agents can share an editable broker-review message or copy only the clause wording.

Can my broker change the wording?

The shared review packet is editable in the receiving app. The agent can then apply approved changes to the saved ClauseBook draft.

Is there a web subscription?

The planned website plans are CAD $4.99 monthly and CAD $39.99 annually. After one free week, a new subscriber receives a three-week trial through Stripe checkout. Billing remains inactive until final business and legal setup is complete.

How do I cancel?

After billing is activated, signed-in subscribers can open Account and choose Manage billing. Deleting a ClauseBook account also cancels its active website subscription.

Does ClauseBook provide legal advice?

No. ClauseBook helps professionals locate and prepare clause wording. The agent remains responsible for suitability, completion and professional review.
